| Who is Debbie Reynolds? |
| I am a mom of two boys, a wife, a dance teacher, a mentor, a friend, a counselor, a disciplinarian, an enforcer, and a role model. All of these things are part of my role as a dance teacher. I know, everything I am is what your children see and that is so important to me to be the best person I can be. I have been teaching for 18 years now. I opened my own studio in 1999, and we are celebrating our 11th Year together. I was the director and teacher at the Westfield YMCA for 3 years prior. My teaching started at High Performance 18 years ago. I grew up winning many national competition but started teaching early because teaching always meant more to me than winning a competition. I have attended and am certified in levels I and II by Dance Educators of America, and I am currently attending my 4th year at Dance Masters of America. I am also Secretary for Nation Association of Dance and Affiliated Arts Chapter #20. I attend conventions regularly so I stay current on all the newest techniques and styles of dance. I continue my education because I feel as a teacher we can only continue our teaching by continuing our learning.
